Steph's July Newsletter

Welcome to summer. I hope everyone has had some time outside and is benefitting from the outdoor air and sunshine. Maybe a garden treat or two !

It has been a bit since I last put out an email. We have seen so much in the last couple months and it has been a lot to process. If you need a hand in processing these things, please reach out. I have many resources that I can tap into, refer too and lend my hands in other ways than massage. I am here for you.

One of the things that has changed is that we at IndiGlo are able to see you all now and are doing so in a very thoughtful, controlled, and sanitized way. We are all wearing PPE during your visits, temping when you arrive, washing hands upon arrival/leaving, staggering appointments, pre-screening by phone the day of your visit, cleaning like we have never cleaned before with EPA approved cleaners, and requiring masks and eye coverings for us and you while you are on the table or in the clinic.

Because of these changes we have less appointments available during the day and they are very specific on times. The rooms might be a bit breezier as well as we have windows open and air filters with ultraviolet light going as well.

Some other new things. I have two spaces I am working from. One new upstairs and one downstairs in my regular space. ( Let me know if you have issues with stairs and we will avoid scheduling Wed, Thurs). They have been optimized for cleaning and so some changes are in place in the rooms, but close to what you remember.

We have new intake forms to do before you visit. This is a one time occurrence. You do not need to do them every time. We have a morning assessment call as well. You will be asked to sign every time we go over your appointment. :) A note on pre-planning. Traveling in and out of State on airplanes or similar group travel will require 14 days at home from your travel before you can be seen. So set appointments accordingly.

With the increase in equipment and supplies required to work and the decrease in the number of clients I can see in a day due to disinfection protocols, I will ultimately have to raise my rates. As of August 1st, 60 minutes will be $97., 75 minutes will be $107. and 90 minutes will be $127. All prepaid packs purchased prior to this date will be honored.  If you prefer, a shorter, more focused Contingent Care Sessions (CCS) they are available for $87.

YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED FOR CANCELING RIGHT NOW. The new normal of Covid 19 means that you may need to cancel last minute or I might need to cancel last minute. This is disappointing I know, but you will not be charged. We want everyone to know it is ok to cancel if needed. As Massage Therapists, we operate under different guidelines than the phases the counties use as guidance. We are watching hospital surge capacity guidelines as well as county phases and may need to change how we are seeing clients based on those parameters. We will keep you updated and watch them carefully now that we are open. If things change and we see a rise in cases I may be contacting you about changing your appointment to a Contingent Care Session (CCS). We will be closely monitoring and caring for you all with safety and health in mind.

If you want to see pictures of how things look and or want more info about the questions we ask and or other things please check out our website blog at www.indiglohealingarts.com or if needed give us a call or email. We will help however we can. Working together, we can get through this.

We have tried reaching out to everyone personally since our closure to reschedule, but if we have not reached you..please let us know.

Thank you so much for ALL of your support!!    Hugs! Stephanie

We have been officially open for about 3 weeks now and slowly getting our feet beneath us and practicing our new protocols and getting really good at it.
You might notice some new things when you come in the doors at Indiglo.
We are wearing new get ups. We have PPE on at the time you arrive, KN95 or N 95 masks, Shields, Aprons, sometimes scrubs, and eye wear are the new look and for good reason. These protect both you and us.
We are a 6ft distancing business and masks required.
All rooms are using filters, open windows or if no window intake /outtake air flow to the outside.
We have staggered entries and exits and have changed our routines a bit. You will likely have a screening before the appointment.
Cleaning is very much a hourly thing in every room, office area and bathrooms. We have your health an well being in mind.
Because of these things, we have less appointment times available in the day, so reserve ours soon. :)
We have added two new LMT's to our Group as well. Welcome Tracy Lemoine LMT and Sofia Petricola LMT, both are welcoming new local patients. Samara LaRochelle has also made her full time practice only at IndiGlo now and she also has room for New Local Patients.
We are glad to have you back!

The winds of change are upon us and we are floating with it.
Dancing through the trees as we get swept up in the gust.
With most of our practice work being given through touch and one on one, we got into a routine. Something we new well and did well.
Then came Covid 19 and we are all now in new place that is unpredictable, scary at times, raw and in some ways exciting as it is pushing us all to be even better versions of ourselves then we were before.
With this chance has come all sorts of new ideas and of course a bigger more accessible version of IndIGlo. (With some Tech difficulties here and there.) We at IndiGlo have been very busy in the background. Yes, we are taking time to lounge here and there, but we are also creating a new platform to invite you to join us on.
This week we are launching new ideas. MJ and Anna both have Zoom classes for Pilates and Stretch class. Click on their pictures to find out when and where.
I am adding online Zoom sessions and Workshops to help you stay healthy at home.
Frost is doing web and phone format Mentoring and Counseling, if you need help through this, she is a good person to contact.
Look here for BLOGs, New Podcast links (First one by Wednesday), You Tube Links and Tea time Zoom and Wellness Book Club. Check here for updates.
We are all offering prepay deals and discounts. We would love for you to call if you have any questions.
Last, We want you to know that if you need to talk to anyone of us, we are here for you and you can call and text us. We know that this is a time where a simple voice you are familiar with means a lot. Let us know how you are.
We look forward to working with you in new ways and fun ways.
Be well and HUGS
Stephanie

CHOCOLATE AND MASSAGE

We have the chocolate to go with your massage. The Cocoa Forge has started to produce so many wonderful bars of amazing chocolate and we had to be a part of the fun. You will never find such rare flavors and amazing beans.
When you come in to IndiGlo, try a tile and see the difference for yourself. We are so lucky to have such amazing chocolates here in Port Townsend and at Indiglo to share with you!

Susan by the way and her amazing partner Bruce, helped us get IndiGlo off the ground. They helped us build our walls for our rooms. They also rebuilt the 1890's building they are in and saved it from falling down , while keeping it's heritage intact. A must see. The Cocoa Forge is located right behind Soak on the Sound and was a old Alcohol Barrel facility bak in the day and then spent it's time hosting a Iron Forge before Susan got a hold of it. The roof was soot and barely there and the weeds were growing into the building.

Her gifts are being shared with our community, so mosey on over on a Saturday and check her out.
